Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The II-nd Congress of the Kosova Society of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgeons (KSOTS) will be held in Prishtina, Kosovo, from 11 to 12 May 2012. The special topic of the IInd Congress will be ”Joint Surgery update”. In addition, there will be free paper presentation, lunch time workshops, and an industrial exhibition. It is our pleasure to invite you to come to Prishtina and join this event. 

Kosova Society of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgeons (KSOTS) an organization established at 15/04/2000 and counts 68 members from all-around Kosova. The main objective of Kosova Society of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgeons (KSOTS) is to promote the advancement of orthopaedics in both aspects: research and practice. This Congress has a great importance in increasing the professional level and also as an exchange of ideas and experiences among invited the most eminent names.

The venue, Emerald Hotel, five stars hotel is a modern facility. Flight connection to Prishtina are excellent. 

But in this meeting we have tried as well to make it a place for friendship and an opportunity to recounter old friends and meet new people. 

Kosova is the visible sign of the times. The old mixes with the new; history, often painful, with modernity and globalization. I am glad that right now, in a period of economic transformation and creation of a novel political culture we have the honour to organize the IInd KSOTS Congress in Prishtina

The local organising commitee will do its best to make this event highlight, scientifically as well as socially.
